DM launches first cultural initiative of 2010

The Awareness and Community Service team in the Public Health Services Department of Dubai Municipality has launched its first cultural initiative for this year by organizing a cultural workshop titled "Back to Nature." The work shop was presented for women staff in the City Hall in the Municipality.
Zuhoor Al Sabbagh, Director of Public Health Services Department said this workshop came as a result of Dubai Municipality's keenness on the health and safety of its staff, particularly female staff.
She said that the cultural initiative covered several themes such as "the healthy and natural way to revitalize the cells and getting rid of the harmful sediments in the body within 48 hours" and "the foodstuff that keeps the lustre and vitality of the skin internally and externally."

The workshop also talked about "how to care for yourself naturally and on food so that you may shine as a bride on your wedding day," and "the most important food and natural materials that must be kept in the kitchen to raise the immunity of your family."
Pharmacist Samar Badawi, an expert in dietary supplements delivered a lecture, in which she urged the audience to stay away from chemicals and substances harmful to health and to take advantage of the bounties of nature and its treasures to reduce environmental pollution and to preserve the public health. The educational workshop received a significant number of ladies.
